Description

A bright green sprig rises from near the foot of this small upright block of clear resin, its slender stems crowded with narrow, toothed leaflets that fan out into a bushy crown. The block is rounded into a soft dome at the top, and every face is rippled and dimpled like ice beginning to melt. Seen through those ripples, the sprig seems to waver, as if it were growing under moving water.

A Green Sprig Under Rippled Ice

The block is imported clear resin, its surface left undulating rather than flat, with shallow hollows and rounded swellings that glint all over. Because of those ripples the sprig never looks quite the same twice: step to one side and its leaflets stretch, bend or break into wavering green lines. The green itself is vivid, deepening towards the base of the stems and paling to lime at the leaf tips. Clear space above the sprig leaves the domed top bright and glassy.

Small enough for a windowsill, a night stand or a crowded desk, it brings a fresh note of green to a kitchen shelf as well. At 18cm it is a good fit for a bookshelf, or for a desk where it can catch the glow of a reading lamp. Morning sun makes the rippled surface sparkle and turns the sprig an almost luminous green. Indoor use only.

Your Green Sprig Block, Made and Sent

Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. One block is supplied per order, sold individually and cast after the order is placed. Commissioned to order, the block could enclose another green sprig, a little fern or a dried flower instead, its ripples could be calmed or its dome squared off, and other sizes are possible as well. Packed in foam inside a small, sturdy box, it arrives ready to go on display. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
