Clear Frame & Green Leather Resin Armchair - 88cm
Clear Frame & Green Leather Resin Armchair - 88cm $4,45200
Description

This armchair sets an olive green leather seat into a colourless cast resin frame. The frame is a crescent back panel between two slim uprights, with a clear rail under the seat and four straight clear legs. The leather does not stop at the edges of the seat: at each side it sweeps up into a flared arm that turns outward at the tip, so both arms are upholstered rather than cast. One chair is supplied, so order the number of places you need.

A Clear Frame With an Upholstered Seat In It

The frame is colourless and reads as glass: a crescent back panel curving between its uprights, a rail beneath the seat and four straight legs, all of it letting the room through. The seat is olive green leather and entirely opaque, and it rises at each side into a flared arm, so the hand always lands on leather rather than on resin. That gives the chair one solid shape floating inside a transparent one, and from a distance the frame drops away almost completely and the green appears to sit in mid air.

At 88cm to the top of the frame it draws up to a desk or a dinner table, the seat is full sized, and the leather makes it usable for long sittings in a way a bare cast shell is not. One chair is supplied. Set it against a plain floor so the clear frame does its work, and give it light from the side, which separates the frame from the wall behind. Indoors only.

The Leather, the Frame, and What a Set Involves

As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The upholstery sets it rather than the frame. Three things are open. The leather, this olive green or a tan, a black, or a plain woven fabric instead. The frame, from this crescent back panel to a full oval or an open frame with no panel at all. And the arms, which can keep this outward flare or be drawn in closer to the seat. The seat height and the width across are settled at order, and a set is upholstered from one hide so the colour matches. One chair is supplied per order line. It ships in one crate, finished, and one person can carry it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

An olive leather seat set into a glass-clear frame places this armchair in our art furniture; as a piece made for living rooms it is shown with our indoor sculptures, and as a cast frame with our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
