Description

This round pedestal table has a clear top cast as a flower, with ribs and folds radiating from a central point out to a rim that breaks into lobes. It stands on a waisted pedestal in matt black, finely ribbed over its whole surface and spreading to a wide round foot. The pedestal is built by printing rather than moulded, which is what allows a rib that fine to run the full height.

A Flower Top on a Printed Pedestal

The pedestal is built up by printing rather than cast, and that is why the ribs can run the full height at that pitch: a mould would not release them. Each rib is laid down in sequence and the surface is finished matt afterwards so it takes no reflection from the top. The flower top is cast separately, its ribs radiating from one point out to a rim left lobed as the material finished. The pedestal's bearing face is levelled across its whole width before the top is set on it.

At 75cm this is a small round table to stand at or to draw a couple of chairs up to. The flower top is read from directly above, so it suits a position people pass and look down into. The printed pedestal is matt and takes no reflection, which keeps the clear top the only bright thing on the piece.

The Printing, the Lobed Rim, and Setting It Level

Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The printed rib is where it goes. Three things can change. The pedestal can be printed to any height within reason and finished in any tone, and the top can be run in a tint instead of clear. Flower diameter and pedestal reach are made to the figures you give. Once the order is placed as one, the radiating of the ribs is carried through it. The lobed rim and the ribbed foot go in wrapped apart, and the top and the pedestal travel in separate crates. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A clear flower of a top sits with our acrylic sculptures; on its printed black pedestal it joins our art furniture, the steel inside it our metal sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
