Description

A cluster of faceted crystal points on a tighter span than the full-size group, each on its own cast foot and the five set nearer one another, a small point standing between the two highest. Colourless throughout, with the facets doing everything the colour would do on another piece. Nothing is supplied under it, and the points stand on the feet they are cast with.

Closer Together, and Brighter For It

Closer together, the same points bounce light between one another and the cluster reads brighter than the arrangement twice its size. Proximity is the whole difference. Light that leaves one face meets another before it has gone far, so the group holds more of what falls on it and gives back a harder sparkle than the wider arrangement does. At two thirds the span the points stand closer together, and clear resin is what makes that matter: every face has a neighbour near enough to catch. Polished on all faces, and at this size the facets are cut finer and there are proportionally more of them.

A console, a writing desk or a broad shelf. It goes where the full-size group cannot. Dark behind it, for the same reason and with the same result. A single low source is enough at this size, and the cluster will throw facet patterns onto the surface under it. It carries less far across a room than the full-size group and rewards close attention more.

Drawing the Points Longer, and Delivery

Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The points are drawn longer, colour is carried through the group, and the five are set further apart. Draw the points longer and the group is opened to match, because the cluster is read as a proportion and not as a set of heights. One crate with each point bedded separately, and they are set out on site. One person can place them, though there are several to carry. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Faceted crystal points set close together are gathered in our indoor sculptures; their crisp planes suit our contemporary and modern sculptures, and every clear facet joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
