This cast resin dining armchair rises into a tall, smooth, clear arch, and along the top of that arch hangs a row of drips, frozen at different lengths. Below, the seat is a shallow dished pan and the back sweeps forward at each side into a low arm. Bare twigs are held inside the resin of the four tapered legs, brown and fine, running most of the way to the floor. The drips and the twigs are the only two details on an otherwise plain chair.
Two details, and they sit at opposite ends of the chair. At the top the arched back carries a row of drips, each a rounded teardrop of the same material stopping in mid air at a different length, so the top edge reads as something that was liquid and is no longer. At the bottom, bare twigs are held inside the resin of all four legs, brown and fine, running most of the way to the floor. Between the two the chair is deliberately plain: a smooth arch, a shallow dished seat, two low arms sweeping forward, and nothing else to look at. That restraint is what keeps the drips and the twigs from competing with each other.
At 90cm high this will run under a dining table, and the arched back stands well above the table line so a set of them reads as a row of arches. The drips hang from the top edge and are the part to keep clear of a wall. Light from the side shows both the drips and the twigs in the legs. Keep it indoors.
It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. The drip detail sets the pace here. Three of its features are open. The drip count can be changed and the drips can be left off, the twigs can be taken up into the back as well as the legs, and the resin is offered tinted. The seat height is open. The seat height and the overall height are named by you. A second piece added later will differ on the number of drips at the top of the back. Its crate is shaped round the drips at the top of the back, and four people lift it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Drips at the top and twigs in the legs make this armchair dining seating for our art furniture; the frozen drips suit our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a dining room among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
