Small dried botanicals sit at the heart of this cube of high-clarity resin: a flower head, a few petals, a leaf or a seed pod, in the warm natural shades of ochre, amber, gold, wine red and brown that plants keep once dried. Its six faces are equal and polished, with crisp edges all round. The specimen differs from one cube to the next, so each is a small original.
Each face is polished to a flat, glassy finish and the edges are kept sharp, so the specimen reads clearly whichever way the cube is turned, even when it is viewed from overhead. The botanicals keep the textures they had when dried: the frill of a flower head, the fine veins of a petal, the wrinkled skin of a seed pod or a berry. Their colours are muted and earthy rather than bright, which lets them sit happily beside wood, linen and stone. Because each specimen is natural, no two cubes are alike.
Compact enough for a desk, a bookshelf, a bedside table or a windowsill, it also makes a handsome paperweight beside a stack of letters or an open notebook. At 10cm it fits neatly among paperbacks on a shelf. Morning sun on a sill casts the specimen's silhouette onto the surface below it. Indoor use only.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. You receive one cube, sold individually, with a standard dried specimen inside; a special inclusion is priced on its own and is not covered by this price. A bespoke cube can be cast at a different size, lengthened into a rectangular block or filled with several specimens instead of one. Each is wrapped in film and boxed in shaped foam so that its corners arrive crisp. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A dried flower head or seed pod held in a crisp clear cube rounds out our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
