This resin deer head has no body and no legs. A deer's head and long neck rise out of a smooth teardrop-shaped mass that sits directly on the floor, and every surface of it is clear and polished, so the room shows through it. The rack is the event: it is very long, it carries a dozen or more tines, and it sweeps up and back from the crown on a long diagonal, so the animal is far broader than it is deep. The head itself is modelled plainly with no detail beyond the ears and the eye.
A rack held out on a long diagonal is a cantilever, and that changes what has to happen at the skull. The beams are longest exactly where they are least supported, so the section at the base of each is set by what it has to carry rather than by what a deer's antler looks like, and the taper is then run out along the beam so the eye reads a natural sweep instead of a thickened root. The clear resin is the other constraint and it is unforgiving: a polished clear surface shows every ripple beneath it, so the whole teardrop is brought to a single continuous curve before the final polish, and the join between the neck and the mass is worked away entirely rather than blended.
This is a floor piece for a room with width to spare. The rack reaches out well past the head, so it wants an open wall, the middle of a large room or a broad landing, and it will not sit in an alcove. Clear resin has no colour of its own and borrows the room's: in front of a plain pale wall the animal reads as a bright outline, and in a room with colour in it the whole rack picks that colour up. Keep it away from a walkway where the tines are at hip height.
It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. It can be left clear as here, frosted to soften the highlights, or tinted through with amber or smoke. The rack's spread is open and can be brought in for a narrower room, and the head can be cast with no antlers at all from the same neck and mass. Other sizes can be cut to order. It arrives in one crate with the rack cased separately and seated on site by hand; take the weight under the mass and never by a beam. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear deer head on a teardrop mass belongs with our deer statues; a rack rising from the crown in one long sweep leads to our abstract sculptures, and a deer with neither body nor legs joins our animal sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
