This clear acrylic case is long and shallow, divided inside into two ranks of open compartments, one above the other, with a small clasp at each corner. Metal spheres sit in some of the compartments and not others, in white, navy and red, distributed rather than ordered, so the case reads as a collection part way through being arranged. It is shallow from front to back, more a wall piece than a cabinet.
A case with an internal grid is two problems at once. The outer box has to stay square over its whole length or the clasps at the ends will not meet, and the internal divisions have to be located precisely enough that each sphere sits in its compartment without touching two walls at the same time. Because everything is colourless, every division is seen through every other one, so a divider even slightly out of upright shows as a kink in a line that runs the whole length. The spheres are the only opaque elements, and they are matched for diameter so the compartments can all be the same size.
Shallow as it is, it belongs on a wall and not on the floor: along a corridor, over a run of low cupboards, in an office that wants something which is neither shelving nor a picture. The spheres read as colour at a distance and as objects close up, which is the reason to hang it at eye level rather than high. A plain wall behind is worth having, since the case is colourless and the wall shows through every compartment.
Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. Sphere count and colour mix are both open, and the compartments can be left empty for a case to fill yourself. Compartment size is set at order, which decides the sphere diameter that will sit in them. Length is cut to order, and the case can be made a single rank rather than two. A tint can be put through the acrylic. How it is fixed or stood is settled at order, since a case this shallow can be wall-hung or set on a surface and the two want different work at the back. It arrives with the spheres bagged separately. Two people are wanted at this length. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Metal spheres in white, navy and red sit with our acrylic sculptures; two ranks of open compartments lead to our geometric sculptures, and a shallow case along a corridor wall joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
