Shaped as a cocktail glass at the scale of furniture, this pedestal table is a wide cone of clear resin with a hammered, rippling surface, closed by a flat top and drawn down into a solid clear stem. The stem stands in a short polished metal collar on a round, mirror-polished metal foot, and the table is made in three sizes.
The hammered surface is modelled into the mould, and its dimpling runs unbroken from the rim of the cone down into the clear stem. The flat top is worked level and polished, and the rim is eased by hand until it will not catch, which on a circle this wide is the long part of the finishing. At its foot the stem is seated in a short collar of polished metal, and the round foot plate is taken to a mirror and faced flat, since a footed form this tall shows any rock at the rim.
At 82cm the flat top already stands at table height, ready for glasses and plates in a bar, a hallway or a quiet corner of a room. Its mirrored foot picks up whatever is near it, so the floor and the things around it become part of the piece. With a foot this narrow under so wide a top, it needs a hard, level floor and is best kept out of a walkway.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. Most of it is the flared cone. You settle three things. The flare of the cone is drawn to order, the foot can be brushed instead of mirror-polished, and the resin can carry a tint. Each of the three sizes is priced on its own, and a further height can be made to order. Ordered as a group, the flare of the cone is set once and carried through every piece. The crate is built so nothing touches the cone lip and the stem collar; four people take it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A cocktail glass of clear resin standing at table height joins our art furniture; its mirror-polished foot relates it to our metal sculptures, and its hammered cone to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
