The animal in this cast resin sculpture is a standing deer, but the antlers do not branch upwards in the usual way. They run out horizontally from the head and carry a long trailing spray of blossom that reaches sideways well beyond the body and hangs clear of the flank without touching it. From the front the deer is a slim colourless figure; from the side it is mostly flowers.
The spray is a separate element and that is what makes it possible at all. It is made on its own and seated into sockets at the head, which means the bloom can be worked from every angle instead of only from outside a finished animal, and it means the density of flower is a choice rather than whatever the mould allows. Each blossom is finished individually, front and back, since a spray this open is seen from behind as often as from in front. Holding the whole run clear of the flank is the exacting part: the gap between the lowest flowers and the body is narrow and consistent along the entire reach, and it is checked with the animal standing rather than on a bench, because that is the only position in which it matters.
This needs floor space and a wall it is not against. The spray reaches out to one side, so it wants a corner it can grow away from or an open run where people walk past on the other side, and it should be set with the blossom towards the room. Its head comes to the height of a seated viewer, so it belongs where people settle and not in a corridor. On a pale floor the whole piece reads as a drawing; on a dark one the flowers come forward and the animal recedes.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The spray is trimmed back from this reach or carried further, and the bloom can be dense or opened out to a few flowers along a bare stem. Blossom and animal can be tinted separately, a pink or amber spray over a clear deer for instance, and the body can be frosted instead of polished. The direction of the reach is mirrored to order. Scale is cut to order. It arrives in two crates, the animal and the spray apart, and the two go together on site without tools; the deer is a two-person lift and the spray is carried by one along its length. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A deer whose antlers turn into blossom belongs with our deer statues; a slim standing body leads to our figurative sculptures, and a spray of clear flowers joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
