This display stand is solid clear material: a plain cylinder with three incised bands cut round it partway up, carrying a wide flat disc that flares out from the column. Fine turning rings run across the disc and a small round hole passes through its centre. Every face is polished, so the column is seen through the disc above it.
Nothing here is hollowed out and nothing is joined: the column, the disc and the flare it springs from all come out of one block, so a band can be cut anywhere round the column without meeting a seam. The three bands are taken while the piece turns on its own axis, which is what keeps them true rings rather than shallow spirals, and the spacing between them is set before the first cut because a band cannot be moved once it is in. The disc is worked to its flare and the turning rings across it are left exactly as the tool made them. The centre hole is drilled last and eased on both faces, and the foot is faced true so the piece needs nothing under it.
At 50cm it sits neatly by an armchair or at the end of a sofa, its flared disc taking a lamp or a tray. The hole through the centre passes a cable, which is worth knowing if a lamp is what goes on it. The whole piece is read through, so what stands behind it becomes part of it and a plain wall serves it better than a busy one.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. What takes longest is the incised band. Three things are yours to choose. The bands can be cut at any height on the column or left out, and the centre hole can be omitted where nothing needs to pass through it. Disc diameter and stand reach are quoted to whatever you need. Ask for several together if the pitch of the bands needs to agree between them. The flared disc and the centre hole are boxed clear of the crate wall, and it travels standing so nothing presses on the disc. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A banded clear column under a flared disc gives our art furniture a solid stand whose disc can carry a lamp; the turned bands suit our geometric sculptures, the solid body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
