A clear flame in two S-shaped curves that pinch in round a clear sphere at the waist and flare out again above and below it. One edge of the form is lined in bright green, a single coloured stroke against the clear, and both curves taper away to fine points at their outer ends. A slim silver stem lifts the flame from a flat rectangular plate, and stem and plate both come with it.
With so little colour, the green does all the drawing. It runs along one edge of the flame and stops, so the eye follows it up through the curves and over the sphere, while the rest of the form stays clear enough to show whatever is behind it. The sphere at the waist is held between the two curves like something the flame has caught, and both curves are polished, so it reads through them from either side. Nothing else is coloured, so the green carries the whole design.
Shelf, desk or side table all suit it; it is compact enough for a bookcase and striking against dark wood or a painted wall. Daylight from one side brings the green edge up brightly, and at night a lamp beside it does the same. Set against a plain ground, the clear curves show their outline.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The edge can be lined in another colour, blue, amber or red, or two edges coloured instead of one, and the sphere at the waist tinted to match. The flame can be made clear all over, or frosted with the green edge left polished and the sphere frosted to match. It is boxed in padded foam and lifts out by the bottom curve, with hands kept off the sphere. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear flame with one green edge belongs with our abstract sculptures; two curves pinched round a sphere suit our resin sculptures, and a compact piece for a bookcase joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
