Description

A windblown figure in clear cast resin, edged with blue: the skirt streams back behind the foot and the top of the form flares open like a gust. Blue gathers in the flare and runs down the edges to the foot, and the body between is left clear and polished. It comes with a small gold-finished block under its foot.

Blue Edges and a Gold Foot

Polished where its frosted sister is matt, this version is read by its highlights: every turn of the skirt and the flare draws a bright line, and the blue edges outline the form like a drawing. The colour is kept to the edges and the flare, so the clear body in between stays light, and the figure looks almost weightless above its small block. The gold under the foot is the one warm note in the piece, and it answers the blue above it. The gloss is carried over every surface, into the inner curves of the flare as well.

A dressing table, a desk in a study or a narrow shelf will take it, as the flare is kept close to the figure. A plain wall behind it, pale or mid-toned, lets the blue edges read; a window behind it turns the clear body into glass against the sky. A lamp to one side brings up the highlights on the gold and along the skirt.

Blue at the Edges, Gold Underfoot, and Delivery

Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. The blue can be carried further into the body or kept to the edges, and a different edge colour can be used. The gold block can be changed for black or white marble, and the flare can be widened a little. The frosted pink figure on black marble is the same design, sold separately. It is packed in one crate with its block and lifted by one person at the block. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
