Three cut masses leaning into one another: two clear blocks filled with trapped bubbles and, wedged at the joint between them, a thinner block of aqua resin. The upper block leans out at an angle over the standing one, so the stack reads as caught in the act of settling. Nothing is supplied beneath it; the lowest block is the foot.
Trapped air is usually the fault a casting is judged by, and using it as the subject means the interior has to be as considered as any surface. Trapped air is the defect a clear casting is normally judged on. Using it deliberately means keeping the distribution regular enough to look intended and loose enough not to look printed, which is a narrower margin than it sounds. A body carrying this many trapped bubbles behaves like weather rather than glass: the bubbles catch light the surface does not, so the inside of each block is busier than its outside. Polished on the faces and left crisp on the arrises, so each block keeps a sharp outline around the aqua at the joint.
A low table or a shelf at seated height, where the interior is on the eye line. Something dark behind it. The bubbles disappear against white and come forward against a deep ground. A light source above and slightly behind fills the bubbles and leaves the faces quiet. From across a room it is three pale masses; the field of bubbles is a close-range fact.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The density of the bubbles can be raised or cleared out, the aqua can be run stronger, and the block count can change. Take the bubbles out and the aqua block reads as the only event left, which turns a piece about weather into a drawing. One crate, and it stands as it arrives with no assembly. One person. Lift from underneath the bottom block with both hands and do not grip the leaning one. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Bubbled blocks leaning into one another, as here, stand among our indoor sculptures; the three-part lean belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the trapped-air casting joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
