Above the seat this tub chair is clear, below it amber. The ribbed back and arms are colourless resin, with flutes climbing the tub and fanning over the rolled rim, and the colour begins at the seat, so the skirt beneath glows golden in the middle and burns to a deep orange at its sides and feet. The seat is a plain dish with a rail under its front edge, and below it the skirt is cut into a broad arch above the flared feet.
The colour is placed so the chair seems to stand in a pool of amber light. All the clear resin is above the seat, where the ribs read as cold, bright lines, and the warmth is kept for the skirt, grading from honey at the centre to a burnt red-orange at the edges and feet, the places where the resin is deepest. A faint amber blush rises a short way into the clear back just above the seat, so the change is soft rather than ruled. The ribbing runs unbroken through both zones.
Use it as an occasional chair in a hotel lobby, a bedroom or a lounge, where its warm skirt answers timber floors and its clear back keeps the space open. Light from behind or below sets the amber skirt glowing like a lantern, and in daylight the clear back almost disappears against a pale wall. Indoor use only.
Once ordered, a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke one 5–6. The line where amber begins can be moved, up into the tub for a warmer chair or down to the feet for one that is nearly clear, and the amber can be swapped for smoke, rose or blue. The fluting can be widened or omitted. Overall height and plan can follow your measurements. It comes fully finished, crated as one piece; carrying it in is work for two. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Clear-and-amber fluted seating is listed in our art furniture, fits the rooms of our indoor sculptures, and as a graded cast suits our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
