Description

Citrus yellow fills this dining chair from its wing tips to its seat, strongest where the shell is thickest and lighter in the two wings that crown the back. The shell is moulded in one piece: a back that tapers to a narrow waist, flares into the wings above, and turns forward below into a dished seat whose front edge curls under. Droplets texture it all over, and it stands on a splay of dark metal legs.

Citrus Yellow Carried Up Into Two Wings

Yellow is a demanding tint to keep clean, since a yellow mixed a shade too heavy turns muddy where the seat is thick, and one mixed too light disappears in the wings. The mix is judged on a finished shell rather than on a sample, and the moulding keeps the wings from thinning so far that they lose the colour entirely. The droplet texture is then held to the same density on the back and the seat, because on a bright tint a bare patch shows from the far side of a room.

A strong yellow brightens a room that gets little sun: a north-facing kitchen, a basement dining room, a breakfast corner. At 82cm the yellow wings clear the table top by a good margin, so they carry the colour into the room even when people are seated. Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
