Description

A windblown figure in blue cast resin, the compact version of this design, on a black marble block that sits close under the foot it carries. Blue through the whole body, deepest at the hem and easing as it climbs into the flare. The stone is supplied with the figure, ready to stand.

The One That Stays Inside Its Own Footprint

The one member of this family whose flare stays inside its own footprint, which makes it the only one that can be placed on a crowded surface. Every other version of this figure throws its flare out past the stone it stands on. This one does not, which is why it can go on a crowded surface, and the colour is arranged to match: deepest where the body is widest, easing as it narrows. Blue that eases as the body narrows means the widest part of the figure is also the strongest colour, so mass and colour make the same argument instead of competing. Polished all over, with the hem taken to the same grade as the flare so the colour change is not interrupted.

A desk, a bedside table or a bookshelf, where a figure at this size is met close to. A pale wall behind it, or one of any colour except blue. A lamp to one side gives the hem its depth; overhead light leaves it flat. It is a close-range piece and the only one of the family that does not need a room to itself.

Carrying the Blue Up, and Delivery

Build times separate standard from bespoke: 3–4 weeks against 5–6. The blue can be carried into the flare, this design is made at several other sizes, and pale stone can go underneath. Carry the blue into the flare and the piece loses the one thing that separates it from the others in this family. One crate, and it goes onto its surface without help. One person, one hand. It sits on any table that takes a lamp. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
