This acrylic sculpture is a closed box of translucent blue board, square in plan, stocky and upright, with its top sealed flat. The colour is one even cyan blue on every face, clear rather than opaque, so the walls at the back glow through the walls at the front and the whole box reads as a block of tinted light. Its four upright edges gleam as fine lines, and nothing else breaks the faces. Its board comes in a standard and a heavier gauge, priced separately.
A box this plain is judged by its corners. With no carving, no facets and no figure to hold the eye, attention goes straight to the four upright edges and the square outline of the top, and each of them has to run true from end to end for the shape to stand up to a second look. The board is cut and joined so that every corner shows as a thin bright seam of blue rather than as a dark line, and the top sits flush with the walls around it. Because the box is see-through, its back corners are part of the drawing too: from any angle you see all four uprights at once, and the blue deepens wherever two walls overlap in your view.
At 60cm it suits the floor beside an armchair, the corner of a hall or a low gallery plinth, a block of colour that carries across a room. Give it daylight or a lamp from one side: side light makes the blue glow and lifts the corners into lines, where a lamp straight in front of it flattens the colour. It is happiest against a plain pale wall, which keeps the cyan clean, and on a hard, level floor, since a true square is easy to check against the room.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. It is made in two board thicknesses, the standard and a heavier board, chosen in the options and each priced on its own. As a commission the tint can be changed, from this cyan to a deeper blue, a smoke or clear board, and the proportions can be drawn again, as a slim column or a long, low block. Several can be ordered together to stand in a line at one height. Move it upright with flat hands on two opposite faces, and never take it by a corner or by the rim of the top. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A stocky square of clear cyan, sealed on top and bright at its corners, this box is placed with our geometric sculptures, our acrylic sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
