Blue Standing Rabbit-Headed Figure Resin Sculpture, 80cm, translucent blue finish with one fist raised and one hand at the waist, on a plain white background.
Blue Standing Rabbit-Headed Figure Resin Sculpture - 80cm $3,84700
Description

This resin sculpture stands upright on two legs with a human torso, human arms and human hands, and the head of a rabbit above them: a long muzzle, small eyes and two ears standing straight up. One hand is raised in a fist at shoulder height and the other is held flat across the waist. The whole thing is a translucent blue, deeper at the shoulders and the base and clearer through the chest.

Where an Animal Head Meets a Human Body

Everything about this piece is decided at the neck. An animal head on a human body either reads as one creature or as two objects glued together, and what settles it is a few centimetres of throat: the jaw has to sit forward of the collarbones and the neck has to carry the muzzle's weight visually, which means it is cut thicker than a human neck and not as long as a rabbit's. That proportion is found on the finished figure and not before it. The ears are the other exacting passage, being long, thin and unsupported: each is worked from both faces because the light comes through them, and their outer edges are rounded so that a knock takes a scuff rather than a corner.

At 80cm it belongs on the floor beside a chair or on a low chest, and it holds a room the way a person would rather than sitting on a surface as an ornament. It faces one way and the raised hand only makes sense from the front, so give it a clear approach. Translucent blue wants light coming through it: in front of a window the whole figure lifts, and against a dark wall it closes into a silhouette. It suits a hall, a landing or a child's room, and it is robust enough for the last of those.

Colour, the Seated Version and Delivery

Whether it is standard or bespoke sets the build: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The blue runs from this depth to a pale aqua, and a green, an amber and a clear body are all made; an opaque finish is offered where a solid colour is wanted. The seated figure is made to match. Hand positions are set at order, and the ears can be laid back along the head. The figure can be made at other scales to order. It travels standing in a fitted crate with each ear cased separately and nothing to assemble; two people should place it, holding the torso rather than an arm. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A standing figure with a rabbit's head belongs with our rabbit and hare statues; an animal head on a human body leads to our pop art sculptures, and translucent blue joins our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
