A small round side table, its blue strong across the top and clearing away toward the floor. Beneath, one sheet is bent into a half-open curve and stands on its edges, and a flat blade crosses it through a slot to keep the curve from springing. Seen from above, the curve shows through the top as a pale blue arc.
Two pieces make the whole base, and each depends on the other. The curved sheet is bent while warm and held to its radius until it has cooled, and on its own it would slowly open out; the flat blade, slotted into it at the centre, is what fixes the curve and stops it from rocking. The edges where both stand on the floor are trued so the table sits level. The colour is graded through the sheet itself, so the blue fades down the curve and the blade together, and the top carries it at full strength.
At 43cm it sits just under the arm of most sofas and chairs, which suits it to a reading corner, with room on top for a lamp or a cup. The curve looks different from every side, so it rewards a place where people can walk round it. Beside a low armchair it makes a small, complete group.
A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The top can be cut square or given a wider round, and the blue can be changed for another graded colour or left clear. The curve can be bent tighter or looser on the same blade, and the base made in clear with only the top coloured. It is packed flat as three parts, top, curved sheet and blade, which slot together by hand in a minute, so one person can carry it and set it up. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A curved sheet held open by a single blade belongs with our art furniture; blue clearing toward the floor leads to our acrylic sculptures, and a small table beside an armchair joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
