Blue Graded Round Acrylic Low Table on Arched Panels - 80cm $3,37500
Description

A round low table in blue acrylic graded in one direction: strongest across the upper surface and draining away down the base until the material is almost colourless where it meets the floor. The base is built from curved acrylic panels that cross at the centre, each one cut with tall arches along its bottom edge so the whole support stands on a series of feet rather than a solid skirt.

A Blue That Drains Out Toward the Floor

The grade runs in one direction through every part, and it has to be oriented the same way in each or the table reads as a set of mismatched pieces: the deep end of the grade goes uppermost on the top and uppermost on each panel, so the colour runs continuously from the surface down to the floor. The curved panels are heated and pulled over a former, then the arches are cut after forming, because cutting them first leaves the material too weak to take the bend. Every arch is polished along its full sweep. Where the panels cross they are slotted into one another, so the base holds itself square without adhesive at the intersection and the joint can be seen through as a clean line.

This is a coffee table for a low seating group, with a round plan that leaves no corner for a passing shin to find. The graded blue is worth placing over a pale floor, where the clear foot of the base lets the floor read through and the colour appears to hover above it. On a dark or patterned floor the base stops reading as glass and starts reading as a solid skirt.

The Grading, the Arched Base, and What Is Priced

It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. The grade can be run in another colour, or reversed so the deep end sits at the floor. The arch height is adjustable and the top can be cut to another diameter on the same base. The table is priced on its own. It travels as a flat top with the panels packed alongside, and the base slots together on site without tools, which is what allows a table this diameter to come up a normal staircase. Two people should handle the top. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A blue that drains out toward the floor sits with our contemporary and modern sculptures; arched panels slotted at the centre point to our art furniture, and a round plan with no corner to catch joins our acrylic sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
