A ring standing upright with a single soft opening through it, the band twisting as it goes round. The colour sits deepest along the top and the outer rims, a dark navy, brightens to a vivid blue on the inner faces around the opening, and drifts to a misty grey-blue across the broad outer face. The ring meets its black marble block at a single point, and the block comes with it.
A ring that comes down onto its block at one point is a structural proposition before it is a shape, and the frosting is what keeps that from being obvious. A frosted surface gives nothing back, so the ring reads as something set down rather than something holding itself up. The colour does the describing instead: the band darkens to navy wherever it turns edge on, along the top and the rims, and opens into a vivid blue on the inner faces, so the twist can be followed all the way round. Because the whole surface is frosted, the shading alone shows how the band turns.
At 58cm on its block it suits an office desk or a deep shelf, where the opening can be looked through rather than at. Anything standing behind it will be seen through the opening, so pick that side of the room with some care. Frosted, it takes light on the surface and gives none back through the body, so a lamp to one side does the most. From a distance it is a blue ring with a hole in it, and the twist in the band is the second look.
Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. The opening is drawn rounder, the frost is left off, and a white marble block replaces the black one. Open the ring further and the band is redrawn around the wider opening, so the twist keeps its line. Left unfrosted, the ring turns glassy and the navy rims read as lines of colour inside it. One crate takes the ring and its block, and the ring is lifted with both hands on the band and none on its rims. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted ring twisting round a single opening, navy at its rims, stands with our indoor sculptures, our contemporary and modern sculptures and our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
