This acrylic sculpture is a low square box of dichroic sheet, broader than it is high and closed by a flat top, its walls meeting at vertical corners that read as bright lines rather than as joints. The walls are a clear cyan-blue, and because the sheet passes light you read the back walls through the front ones; where they cross, the blue doubles into something deeper than either wall on its own. From above, the top takes a pale, silvery sheen, and towards the foot the walls pale almost to white wherever a light surface shows through them.
A box you can see into is more exacting than an opaque one, because it shows the inside of every wall. On a solid block only the outer surface is ever seen and the inner face can be left as it comes; here each wall is read from both sides at once, and a coating laid for one viewing direction still has to hold up from the other. The corners are the second difficulty. Four walls meeting along vertical edges have to close for their whole height, because any gap lets a white line through, and against a colour this even that reads as damage. And the proportion is deliberate: low and wide rather than cube, so the doubled colour where the walls cross happens across the middle of the object where it can be seen rather than in a corner.
Low and square, this is a table piece: a coffee table, a low console, an ottoman tray or the floor beside a chair, met from above while standing, at which angle the crossing walls resolve. Left clear it shows the doubled colour at its best, and anything set on its closed top competes with that colour and generally wins. Light from above and to one side is what this wants. Straight-down light flattens the top to a pale sheen, while a raking source wakes the blue in the walls. Give it a plain dark surface underneath, since you read that surface through the walls and a figured cloth turns into clutter inside the box.
Making a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks, and making a bespoke one 5–6. Colour and proportion are both open: it can keep this clear cyan, take a single flat tint or a full dichroic shift, or be left as clear sheet with nothing on it. The box can be made deeper as a cube, upright as a column, or longer as a trough, and the sheet thickens as it grows. It can be made open at the top as well, though the closed top is what gives it its silvery face from above. It is lifted by two opposite walls with flat hands rather than by a corner or an edge, both of which are the sheet at its most exposed. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A low cyan box whose far walls show through its near ones joins our geometric sculptures, our acrylic sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
