A low, broad gem of cast resin, faceted into large flat planes with crisp edges and graded from a deep violet along its top through blue to a clear green at its heart. It lies on its side rather than standing tall, and it rests on a small black wood base, which comes with it.
Laying a faceted block on its side turns it from a crystal into a stone found on a beach: the long top edge runs level, and the facets fall away beneath it in planes that each take a different slice of the colour. Violet gathers where the resin is thickest along the crown, the middle clears to a bright green, and blue fills the faces beneath, so the gem changes as it is walked past. The planes are polished, and no two are quite the same size.
At 16cm it is a close-up piece for a desk, a bookshelf or a side table, best looked down into from above. A window or a single lamp to one side gives each facet its own colour, while flat overhead light leaves it dull. On a pale surface the violet and green read at their clearest, and a dark one deepens them to jewel tones.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. Other gradings can be cast, amber to red or clear to smoke, and the gem cut with more or fewer facets. The base can be made in stone or in steel instead of wood, and the gem can also be cut to stand upright rather than lie, or at another size to order. It is boxed in a fitted bed that touches only the broad faces, and it lifts in one hand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A low gem cut to facets belongs with our indoor sculptures; colour graded through violet, blue and green suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and a block cast as one leads to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
