A tall acrylic sculpture with a single arris running unbroken from near the foot to the top, slanting across its front. The large faces are arranged about that edge, so the piece has a spine and reads differently from either flank. The film returns blue and green through the body, with amber at the tip of the crown and a pale peach at the foot, and the arris itself shows as a fine bright line where the two faces meet.
One arris running the full height gives the piece a spine, and everything else is set out from it. The faces are not drawn first with the arrises left to fall out between them: the spine is cut first, straight and true for its whole length, and each face is then worked to it - so an error in a face is corrected in the face rather than by moving the edge. The reason is that a spine is the one line a viewer follows from foot to tip, and a spine that wanders is the most visible fault a block like this can have. The bright line along it is a consequence: the two faces meet at a sharp angle there, and the edge catches the light where the faces either side of it do not.
At ninety centimetres it is a floor piece for a room rather than a table one, and what it wants is a position where the slant of the spine can be read against something upright - beside a door frame, at the end of a run of cabinets, against a plain wall, or in an alcove. That is what makes the line read as deliberate. Give it clear space to one side so both flanks can be reached; the two read differently and a piece jammed into a corner shows only one. Light from either flank rather than head-on: raking light runs a bright line up the spine, and frontal light loses it altogether.
It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. The spine paces this build - it is cut first and every face is worked to it, so nothing else can start until it is true. Height, the arrangement of the faces and the film go on the order: gallery scale, or a spine set upright instead of slanting. Film options are three: blue and green as here, magenta-to-gold, or a violet that reads nearly black. It is stood in place and turned to show whichever flank you want, taken by the broad faces and never by the arris. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A tall crystal with one long arris slanting across its blue-green front sits with our geometric sculptures, our acrylic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
