A pierced disc, slim in section, cut with a circular opening at its centre so what remains is a broad ring. The material is a jade effect, cream at one side and running through blue and mauve at the other, and the surface is polished. It stands on a black two-post stand, which comes with it.
Cutting the centre out of a disc is not a decorative decision, it is a structural one, because what is left is a ring and a ring behaves nothing like a plate. A solid disc standing on edge carries its load straight down through the middle; a ring has to carry it around both sides of the hole and back together at the foot, so the two flanks become the whole of the structure. That is why the ring here is drawn broad rather than narrow, and why the opening sits a little above centre: it puts more material where the load arrives. The grade is placed with the same argument, the palest part of the material set where the ring is doing least.
At 65cm it takes far less surface than its face suggests and will sit on a narrow console or a deep shelf. It has to be met square, since the opening closes to a slot from the side and the whole piece then reads as a slab. Light from behind is what the jade effect is for, running the cream nearly translucent while the blue stays dense. A pale wall behind it loses the opening; something darker gives the hole an edge.
Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. The opening is cut wider or brought down to a small bore, the grade is set to run the other way, and the disc is cast at other diameters. A frosted surface is offered and turns the jade effect opaque, which suits a room with a strong window behind it. The stand is also made in steel or in stone. It leaves on edge in a flat crate with the opening braced across, the stand boxed beside it, and one pair of hands is enough. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A ring cut from a solid disc belongs with indoor sculpture; the jade effect is contemporary sculpture; and the cast body is resin sculpture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
