This cast resin and brass drinks table is topped with a near-black disc whose face carries a fine pattern. It is carried on a slim brass column, matt rather than bright, which drops into a base of clear cast resin shaped like a bell, wide at the floor and drawn in at the shoulder. Inside that base, visible through the material, are pale irregular inclusions gathered around the point where the column enters, so the base holds something rather than simply being clear.
Three materials appear once each and are kept apart. The top is a dark disc, near black, with a fine pattern across its face and a plain rounded edge, and it is the only opaque flat surface on the piece. The column is brass, slim and matt rather than polished, sized to be as narrow as the top allows so it reads as a line rather than a shaft. The base is clear cast resin shaped as a bell, and set inside it are pale irregular inclusions clustered where the column enters, which give the base something to hold and stop it reading as an empty lump of clear material. Each element does one job and none imitates another.
At 50cm this drinks table is sized for a glass and a book beside a chair and nothing more. It slides in close to a seat because the base is small and the top narrow. The inclusions in the base only show with light passing through it, so beside a window or a lamp is worth far more than a dark corner. The dark top hides marks. Easy for one person to move. Inside only.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. The brass column is the slow part. Three of its features are open. The brass is offered polished as well as matt, the top can be supplied in a pale finish instead of dark, and the base can be cast plain, without its inclusions. The height is settled at order. Top diameter and overall height are cut to your figures. Tables ordered together share the same pattern of inclusions in the base, and a later order will differ. Its crate is shaped round the brass column and the disc top, and one person can lift it from there. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A dark disc, a brass column and a clear bell stacked in one line suit our geometric sculptures; kept by a chair for a glass and a book, it joins our art furniture, and its restraint belongs to our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
