Blue runs through this armchair at two strengths. The seat, cut with shallow ripples, is a deep and vivid azure, while the back's hoop, its scalloped top and the broad splat beneath it take a cooler slate blue. The arms leave the hoop and roll over into small scrolls at the front, and the four ice-like legs pale as they descend until they are almost colourless where they reach the floor.
Two depths of blue give the chair its character. Across the seat the tint is at its strongest, a saturated azure that the ripples break into moving bands of brighter and darker blue; up through the hoop and the splat it settles to a greyer slate, and down each leg it fades until the feet are nearly clear. The facets on the legs scatter small bright points across that fading blue. There is no visible joint anywhere on the chair, and no paint or coating sits on its surface: the colour belongs to the resin.
At 80cm it pulls up to a desk or a dining table, and several together make a run of blue along a table's length. The azure seat is the strongest note, so it suits a white or pale grey room, and it glows when a window stands behind it. A light floor keeps the pale feet in view. Indoor use only.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The azure can be pushed towards cobalt or eased to a paler sky tone, and the slate in the hoop can be matched to the seat for one even blue. The scalloped top of the hoop can stay as drawn or be smoothed to a plain arc, and the seat can be cut with deeper ripples or left gentler. We set the seat height to match the table it will serve. Chairs bought at one time share a single batch of tint, so their blues match, and each travels upright with its scrolls and feet padded; two people carry it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Azure resin shaped as a hooped armchair belongs to our art furniture; its scalloped outline sits easily beside our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the chair joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
