Description

An angel kneels and folds herself over a large heart-shaped tablet, her cheek and forearm resting on its upper edge and one hand holding a flower low against the stone. A small draped urn stands beside her on the right, and the group rises from a plain rectangular base slab.

Kneeling Angel Wrapped Around the Heart

This marble is a cool grey rather than a white, with soft veining drifting across the face of the heart, and the carving is arranged so that veining is never interrupted. The arms cross the top edge, the flower is held low at one side, and the broad face of the tablet is left completely clear. The urn is taken from the same block as the base and its drapery is undercut so the folds hang free.

A grey memorial reads quieter than a white one and settles into an established churchyard where the older stones have already weathered down. It suits a full grave plot, a cemetery, a memorial garden or a family enclosure. Give it room on the right so the urn is not crowded, and check the burial authority limits on height and footprint first.

Where a Grey Marble Memorial Sits Best

Eleven weeks. The heart is cut and its face trued before the angel is carved to fold over it, because the reach of her arms and the tilt of her head both depend on exactly where that top edge finishes. The urn is shaped last, once the drapery running past it has settled. The heart arrives with nothing on it, so a name, dates or a line of your own can be cut in the lettering you prefer, or it can stay bare for your own mason, and the urn can be left off. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. Close to 2,098kg in one piece, lifted with mechanical handling and bedded on a poured foundation.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
