The top of this graded cast resin stool is a rounded triangular pad, dished at its centre, and the colour runs out of it: amber and olive across the top, cooling through the shoulders and finishing in a pale blue at the four tapering legs, which hang from the underside like drips caught on the way down. The grade is continuous, with no line anywhere between one colour and the next.
The grade sits inside the material rather than on its surface: the colours meet without a line anywhere and the change happens through the section, so it cannot be worn off an edge. The four legs are drawn down out of the same body as the top and they taper to a tip, which is the difficult part: a thin tapering leg in a graded pour is where a colour boundary will show if it is going to. Every surface is then polished, including the underside of the pad.
This is a low occasional piece rather than a seat, at home before an armchair, beside a sofa's arm or by a bed, where its dished top keeps a glass or a book from sliding. The colour is the reason to have it, so it needs light on it rather than a shaded corner, and a pale floor under it helps.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Most of it is the colour grade. Three choices are open. The two colours are yours to name, the point where one turns into the other can be set high or low, and the legs can be drawn longer. You name the top span and the overall height. Ask for several together if the point where the amber turns to blue needs to agree between them. It travels with the four drip tips and the dished centre packed clear, and one person can place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Amber running down into blue drip legs belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures; as a low stool it serves among our art furniture, and a bedside or chair side among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
