An amber bowl ringed outside in three stepped bands. The bands step out from one another up the outside of the vessel, and each one puts a thickness of material at a different height, so the wall holds light all the way to the rim rather than thinning out of sight. The bottom ring is the foot, so nothing else is needed or sent.
The rings are structural before they are decorative. A bowl of this proportion in a clear material has a wall that thins toward the rim, and a thin wall in amber reads as weak however strong it is, because the eye judges the material by how much light comes through it. Stepping the outside into three bands puts a thickness of material at three heights, so light is held at each step and the wall appears to be substantial all the way up. Making the lowest band the foot is the decision that keeps the piece from needing anything under it. A bowl on a turned foot has a join to explain; here the foot is simply the last of the three rings running a little wider than the two above it, so the vessel meets the surface on a ring of its own making and nothing is added.
At 25cm it is best seen from above, so a low table, a dining table or an island all suit. It is a sculpture and not tableware; it is not made for food or liquid. Light from above runs down the stepped outside and picks out each ring separately, which is the view the piece is built for; from the side the steps flatten into lines and the bowl reads as a plain amber form.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The rings are cut deeper or fewer, the amber is taken toward red, and the bowl is cast at other diameters. The bowl is also drawn deeper for a different proportion of wall to opening. A frosted finish is offered and changes the argument the rings are making, since a frosted body holds light at the surface and the steps stop doing structural work. It travels as a single item bedded on the lowest ring rather than on the rim, and one person can lift it in one hand. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A bowl ringed in three steps belongs with our art furniture; amber held at each band leads to our resin sculptures, and a small vessel for a side table joins our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
