Description

A draped figure cast in amber resin, standing on a black marble block that comes with it. Long folds fall the full height of the figure to a hem that swings out at the foot, and at the top the drapery is thrown back into an open, scooped crown. The colour is honey yellow through the body and deepens to orange where the resin gathers, at the crown, along the edges of the folds and round the hem.

Honey Through the Body, Orange at the Edges

Amber gives this figure a glow that the clear casting does not have. The honey yellow of the body turns orange wherever the resin gathers, at the rim of the crown, down the edge of each fold and around the hem, and those darker lines draw the drapery for the eye, so its movement reads even from across a room. The colour is part of the resin and cannot wear or chip off, and every surface is polished to a clean gloss that keeps the amber bright rather than muddy.

Stand it on a console or a sideboard in a hallway or a living room, where people will see it from the front and both sides. A white or cream wall shows the amber warmly, and dark panelling makes it smoulder. Evening lamplight suits it particularly, and morning sun from a window beside it lifts the honey colour. It pairs well with brass, walnut and warm linen.

Burnt Orange, Straw, and One Upright Crate

Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The amber can be taken darker, towards burnt orange, or paler, towards straw, and the orange can be held back from the edges for a more even colour. The black block can be replaced with white marble. The same figure is also made clear, clear with brown along its folds, clear inked in yellow and brown, and crackled, amber shading to green, each as its own piece. It is crated standing, the block packed beneath it, and two people should lift it, one holding the block and one the waist. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
