Description

A cluster of tall faceted forms in amber-brown translucent resin rises from one common foot, like a group of mineral crystals broken out of a seam. Every face is flat and polished, the peaks stand at different heights, and no surface on the piece is level enough to carry anything. It is a sculpture and it is offered as one.

Faceted Peaks Rising From One Foot

Each peak is modelled individually and the facets are cut and polished as flats, so the light breaks at every arris instead of rolling round a curve. The colour runs through the resin itself, a smoky brown that carries right up into the peaks and warms to orange where the crystals crowd together at the foot. Polishing a flat up to a sharp arris without rounding it is the whole of the work here, and it is done by hand on every face. The common foot is finished flat so the cluster stands without rocking on a hard floor.

At 84cm this stands on the floor rather than on a table, with open space left round it so the peaks can be walked past and read against one another. It belongs in a living room, a hall or an office, and it needs light from one side: lit from directly above, the facets flatten into one tone.

The Amber, the Facet Count, and Where It Stands

Every standard piece is made in 3–4 weeks, and every bespoke commission in 5–6. Most of it is the faceted cluster. Three choices are open. The number of peaks is yours to name, the amber can be taken deeper or replaced with another tint, and the facets can be cut coarser for a blockier read. Base spread and peak height are each specified. Ask for several together if the amber depth through the cluster needs to agree between them. The packing protects the faceted peaks and the common foot; moving it wants two people. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Crystals of smoky amber resin breaking out of one foot belong with our abstract sculptures; the cut facets also suit our geometric sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
