Description

A teardrop-shaped body in warm amber that narrows into a long neck and ends in a flat cap set across it like a T, the whole surface crusted with clear beads of every size, like a bottle drawn up from the sea. The amber shows through the beads, so the body glows orange while the neck and cap stay almost clear. It stands on a tall black marble plinth, which comes with it.

Clear Beads Crusting an Amber Teardrop

The beads are the point. Printed resin can carry hundreds of them, clustered densely on the body and thinning out up the neck, and each one is a clear dome that catches its own highlight, so the surface sparkles as you move. Beneath them the amber is graded, rich in the belly and fading to almost clear at the neck, which makes the form look full and heavy below and light above. The flat cap gives the long neck a crisp end. Close to, the beads look like bubbles caught on the surface of a glass.

At 177cm on its plinth, the amber body sits at eye level, which suits a hotel lobby, a restaurant entrance or a long gallery. A warm light from above sets the beads sparkling and the amber glowing, and against a dark wall the clear beads stand out like droplets. It also makes a striking pair either side of a fireplace.

Bead Density, Body Colour and the Plinth

Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. The body can be made in another colour, sea green, smoky grey or deep blue, and the beads set more thickly or kept to a scatter. The plinth can be white marble or made to another height, and the cap shaped as a disc or a knot instead of a bar. It ships as two crates, one for the form and one for its plinth, and a pair of handlers sets it in place on site. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
