Cut cubes in amber and brown, stacked and turned against one another so the column leans, carried on a figured marble plinth whose figure runs unbroken from top to bottom. Amber and brown alone, with the brown gathering at the top where the cubes are thickest. The same figured stone is supplied with it.
Two colours instead of three, on a tight plan, under the same weight of stone. The plinth is supplied with the piece and cut from one figure of stone throughout, and the proportion of plan to height on this one has nothing spare anywhere in it. Two colours instead of three leaves the material reading as one thing changing rather than several arranged, so the amber at the foot is the same amber that darkens at the top. Polished on every face, with the cut edges left crisp.
A floor position in a hall or beside a stair, where its height works and its footprint is small. Set it against a plain ground, cool or neutral: two warm colours need that to stay separate. Overhead light deepens the brown at the top and leaves the amber below it bright. It reads as a single leaning mass from a distance and resolves into separate blocks within a few paces.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. A third colour can be introduced, the lean can be opened, and the plinth can be supplied in a plain stone. Open the lean and the plinth has to grow with it, because a plan this narrow under a stack this tall has nothing spare. Two crates. The plinth goes in place first and the casting follows. Two people for the stone. One can manage the casting. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A steep lean held by the weight of stone belongs with our indoor sculptures; its two warm colours sit among our contemporary and modern sculptures, and each cut cube joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
