Description

The Ocean Petal Teal Abstract Wooden Bowl at 51cm is a low-slung petal-form bowl hand-carved from solid wood and finished in a deep teal exterior with a cream-toned wave-cut inner rim. At 51cm wide, the bowl sits like a shallow cradle, its outer surface graduating from dark teal at the base to a brighter teal at the lip, while the inner rim has been carved into a rhythmic serrated wave silhouette in pale cream that reads as foam against deep water. A flat dark wood base supports the bowl and grounds the composition. Each bowl is hand-carved and hand-finished individually, so the wave silhouette and teal gradient vary subtly.

A Bowl Carved Like Cresting Water

Our artisans hand-carve the bowl from a single piece of solid wood, shaping the petal silhouette and cutting the inner rim into its wave-form serration before sealing the surface in deep teal lacquer and the inner rim in cream. The flat dark wood base is finished separately to support the bowl cleanly. This 51cm ocean petal bowl works as a tabletop accent in interiors that welcome a small painterly focal point: designer console tables, boutique hotel reception desks, gallery-style residential shelves, coastal residential interiors, and luxury retail vignettes. Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
