The Monumental Traditional Temple Bell Bronze Sculpture stands 180cm tall and weighs 500kg, presenting a commanding classical Chinese bell form with a wide scalloped rim, domed crown, and twin dragon-head handle at its apex. Every surface carries deliberate ornamental weight: raised calligraphic inscription panels, scrollwork cloud motifs, geometric border divisions, and a meander band near the base conspire to make this one of the most structurally and visually resolved pieces we offer.
Cast using the traditional lost-wax process, this bell is finished in a warm reddish-brown patina that deepens across the recessed ground of each decorative panel. The raised Chinese calligraphic inscription and dragon-head crown emerge in a brighter, polished gold-tone bronze, creating a two-register surface that reads equally well up close and at distance. A row of circular bosses below the crown and a circular medallion relief at the lower body add further textural contrast. As a piece of monumental cast bronze, the finish will continue to evolve gracefully with age and exposure.
Given its scale, this bell suits large interior volumes: entrance halls of civic or commercial buildings, hotel lobbies, museum galleries, and temple or ceremonial spaces. Outdoors, it holds its presence in courtyard settings, formal garden axes, and heritage or cultural landscapes. The bronze and gold tonal palette integrates readily with stone, timber, and dark lacquered surfaces.
We offer a range of patina finishes from aged verdigris through to dark museum bronze, and the calligraphic panel content can be customised for commemorative or ceremonial commissions. Scale can be adjusted to suit specific architectural contexts. Please contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements in full.
