The Monumental Seated Buddha Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 300cm, presenting the bhumisparsha mudra with absolute stillness and authority. Draped in finely rendered monastic robes with deeply carved fabric folds, the figure is crowned with an ushnisha flame finial and cast with the characteristic elongated earlobes and serene forward gaze of classical Southeast Asian Buddhist tradition.
This sculpture is produced using the time-honoured lost-wax casting method, which captures every nuance of the modelled form, from the crisp edge of each robe fold to the subtle contours of the hands and face. The highly polished gold finish is applied by hand after casting, building a deep, reflective surface that catches light with exceptional clarity. Bronze at this scale carries extraordinary mass and permanence; at 800kg the piece is built to endure decades of display without deterioration. The monumental gold bronze Buddha reads equally well in full daylight and under directed architectural lighting.
Designed for landmark placement, this sculpture suits temple courtyards, hotel forecourts, corporate atrium spaces, resort grounds, and large-scale private gardens. The gold finish harmonises with warm stone paving, pale marble surrounds, tropical planting, and contemporary glass and steel architecture alike. Given its scale and weight, installation planning including base preparation and crane access should be considered prior to ordering; our team will advise throughout.
