The Monumental Our Lady of Guadalupe Bronze Statue stands at an imposing 400cm, presenting the iconic standing figure in full polychrome regalia: teal-green star-studded mantle, cream robe with gold trim, hands pressed together in prayer, head gently bowed in quiet devotion. A vast radiating sunburst halo of elongated bronze spikes crowns the composition, while a crescent moon and small cherub figure complete the base, faithful to the centuries-old iconographic tradition.
This sculpture is cast using the lost-wax bronze casting method, the same process used for monumental sacred commissions throughout history. Each component of the figure, the flowing drapery, the radiating spike halo, the crescent moon, and the cherub beneath, is individually cast, hand-finished, and assembled before the polychrome painting is applied by hand. The polychrome painted bronze finish reproduces the traditional colour palette with precision: the deep teal-green of the mantle, the gold star motifs and trim, and the warm cream of the robe are all applied in layers and sealed for long-term durability. The oxidised dark bronze of the spike halo provides a striking tonal contrast against the painted figure, giving the piece visual weight and sacred authority at any scale.
At 400cm, this is a statement installation suited to ecclesiastical settings, institutional courtyards, large private estates, civic plazas, and memorial gardens. The polychrome finish reads powerfully against stone, rendered masonry, or mature landscaping. Its outdoor-grade bronze construction ensures the piece weathers gracefully without structural compromise, and it is equally appropriate for covered interior spaces such as cathedral naves, basilica forecourts, or grand entrance halls.
We welcome commissions for alternative heights, patina variations, or modified iconographic details inspired by the traditional devotional canon. If you require a bespoke scale or a specific painted finish, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm scope and timeline. This figure is also available as a natural patina bronze without polychrome colour, for settings where a unified bronze tone is preferred.
