Monumental Contemporary Halved Avocado Bronze Sculpture by Giant Sculptures, 220cm, with olive-gold shell, burgundy seed, and silver stem on a plain background.
Monumental Contemporary Halved Avocado Bronze Sculpture - 220cm $31,65900
Description

The Monumental Contemporary Halved Avocado Bronze Sculpture stands 220cm tall and commands immediate attention through its bold, oversized cross-section form, rich multi-tone patination, and the kind of confident sculptural presence that redefines any plaza, atrium, or landscaped forecourt.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Multi-Tone Patina

Cast using the traditional lost-wax method, this piece is a masterclass in large-scale contemporary bronze casting. The outer shell carries a muted yellow-green and olive gold patina, while the central seed is finished in a deep burgundy-red with flowing organic relief carving that traces the natural grain of the fruit. A polished silver-grey bronze stem curves from the underside base, completing the naturalistic illusion at monumental scale. Each of these colour zones is achieved through hand-applied chemical patination and selective polishing, techniques that cannot be replicated mechanically. The result is a surface that reads differently in morning light than it does at dusk, giving the sculpture a living quality rare in objects of this scale.

At 220cm and 800kg, this is a piece engineered for permanence. It suits wide-open commercial settings: retail plazas, hotel forecourts, corporate gardens, and large double-height interior atriums. The warm gold and olive tones sit naturally against raw concrete, polished stone, or planted greenery. Equally, within a contemporary interior with high ceilings and neutral palettes, the sculpture functions as a standalone focal point without competing with surrounding architecture.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We can adjust the patination palette across all three zones, modify the overall scale for site-specific installations, or develop entirely bespoke configurations for commercial commissions. If you are working to a specific brief, contact us before ordering so we can confirm feasibility and timeline without delay.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
