Cast in rich patinated bronze, this Monumental Acrobatic Figures Bronze Sculpture rises 800 centimetres, eight full metres, from its low stone plinth to the uppermost arching limb. Two athletes lock into a single vertical column: the lower figure drives into a handstand, legs raised, while the upper figure inverts above, arms extended, legs curving overhead in a dynamic arc. The composition is resolved, architectural, and unmistakably commanding at plaza or estate scale.
Each figure is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, preserving the muscular anatomical detail and the precise tension of interlocked limbs across the full height of the piece. The high-polish and patinated surface develops a rich interplay of blue-black and dark brown tones that shift with the light across the day, giving the bronze a living quality that no painted metal can replicate. At 4,000 kilograms, the structural integrity is engineered from the outset.
A sculpture of this height is conceived for large-scale outdoor settings: public plazas, civic roundabouts, the entrance forecourts of institutional buildings, estate gardens with sightlines to match, or landmark commission sites. The low rectangular plinth keeps the figures grounded while allowing the vertical composition to read cleanly against sky. Engineering drawings, foundation specifications, and installation consultation are all part of the commission process at this scale.
Patina finish, overall scale, and figure pose variations are all available on request. This composition can also be produced at reduced scales, from life-size downward, for clients whose setting calls for a smaller version of the same dynamic subject. Contact us before ordering to discuss site requirements, foundation specifications, and any bespoke adjustments.
