Gold-finished bronze sculpture of a classical violinist in tailcoat playing mid-performance by Giant Sculptures, shown on a plain light background.
Monumental Classical Violinist and Allegorical Figures Bronze Sculpture - 320cm $55,25100
Description

The Monumental Classical Violinist and Allegorical Figures Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 320cm, presenting a central tailcoated male figure mid-performance, bow extended outward, elevated above a commanding architectural plinth from which semi-nude allegorical figures rise in dynamic, upward-reaching poses.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This piece is cast in solid bronze using the traditional lost-wax method, a process that captures the precise tension of the violinist's bow arm and the fluid drapery of the surrounding figures with exceptional fidelity. The hand-applied gold gilt finish on the central protagonist creates a striking chromatic contrast against the pale stone-toned finish of the allegorical base grouping and ornate architectural plinth, which features arched recesses, relief borders, and carved decorative detail throughout. Every surface is worked by hand after casting, ensuring the finish reads as richly as the form itself.

At 320cm and 550kg, this is a genuinely monumental bronze sculpture suited to grand civic, commercial, and private settings. It performs equally well in formal interiors such as hotel lobbies, concert halls, and institutional reception spaces as it does in open courtyards, landscaped gardens, or architectural forecourts. The gold and white palette aligns naturally with classical stone surrounds, pale rendered facades, formal water features, and marble-floored interiors.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We can accommodate alternative patina treatments across the full composition, including classical verde, dark brown antiqued bronze, or custom two-tone specifications. Scale can be adjusted for installations where the full 320cm height is not appropriate. For clients inspired by the work of Mozart-era figurative traditions and seeking a fully site-specific commission, our studio team will work directly with you from brief through to installation. Contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.
