The Monumental Classical Mermaid with Dolphins Bronze Fountain stands at an imposing 400cm, presenting a sweeping vertical composition of mythic energy: a mermaid at full reach overhead, a leaping dolphin raised in both hands, her scaled tail coiled across two companion dolphins below, all rising from a broad multi-tiered geometric basin.
This fountain is cast in solid bronze using the lost-wax method, a process that preserves every surface detail from the mermaid's scaled tail to the muscular forms of the dolphins beneath her. The finish is a deeply developed, full verdigris oxidisation, a heavy teal-green patina applied and hand-worked across every surface, giving the piece the gravitas of an aged coastal monument. The stepped stone plinth carries a matching treated finish, unifying base and figures into a single cohesive whole.
At 400cm and 750kg, this is a commission-scale centrepiece suited to grand exterior installations: hotel forecourts, resort pools, public plazas, coastal gardens, private estates, and civic spaces where the vertical scale reads from distance. The cool teal-green tones pair naturally with stone architecture, water features, blue slate, and planted coastal or Mediterranean landscapes.
The verdigris finish shown is our recommended specification for this piece, though we offer alternative patinas including natural brown-bronze, dark antiqued bronze, and black oxide. Scale adjustments are available on request. For installations requiring specific basin engineering or plumbing integration, contact us before ordering so we can align the production specification to your site requirements.
