The Monumental Classical Falconer and Bird of Prey Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 450cm, presenting a robed male figure in historical costume with one arm raised aloft, a large hawk or falcon descending with wings fully spread onto the outstretched gloved hand. The composition is triumphant, precise, and unmistakably commanding at monumental scale.
This sculpture is cast using the traditional lost-wax method, ensuring every fold of fabric, every contour of the raised arm, and every feather of the bird's spread wingspan is rendered with complete fidelity. The dark bronze patina carries a deep brown-black finish consistent across both figure and bird, lending the piece the gravitas of a work that has weathered centuries of open air. The hand-finished bronze surface is sealed for long-term outdoor integrity, resisting oxidation while deepening naturally with exposure over time.
At 450cm including its tall cylindrical stone pedestal, this sculpture is suited to grand exterior settings: formal gardens, estate lawns, civic plazas, hotel forecourts, and institutional grounds where architectural scale is required. The vertical drama of the elevated figure, silhouetted against open sky, rewards viewing from a distance. The dark tones harmonise with stone, clipped hedgerow, iron railings, and natural woodland backdrops.
We offer a range of patina finishes including traditional dark brown, verde green, and natural golden bronze. The pedestal height and profile can be adjusted to suit your site. Bespoke commissions, including custom inscriptions to the drum base as visible in the reference imagery, are welcomed. Contact us before ordering to discuss any modifications or site-specific requirements.
