The Midnight Seated Gorilla Marble Outdoor Sculpture at 60cm captures the great ape in a pensive, contemplative pose — seated with arms crossed, head inclined, the full weight of the figure settled in quiet stillness. Hand-carved from a solid block of premium natural marble, the piece is finished to a deep polished black, with characteristic white marbling drifting through the stone like smoke. The contrast between the dense black ground and the bright natural veining gives every angle a different character, and the polished surface catches and holds light across the shoulders, brow, and folded arms.

This marble gorilla sculpture is worked entirely from genuine stone — real natural marble, hand-carved from block by our artisans, never cast or resin-filled. The black marble used here is selected for its depth of colour and the drama of its natural white veining, which runs unique to every piece. Every muscle group is modelled by hand: the heavy shoulders and broad back, the characteristic sagittal crest across the skull, the crossed forearms with their thick knuckles, the compact seated posture. After carving, the surface is taken through successive grades of hand-polishing until it reaches a mirror-like finish that reveals the full richness of the stone. Because each block is different, no two hand-carved marble gorillas will carry exactly the same veining pattern.

At 60cm the piece sits comfortably as a commanding tabletop or plinth sculpture, an entrance-hall guardian, a study centrepiece, or a statement addition to a terrace, courtyard, or sheltered garden position. Natural marble is suitable for both indoor and outdoor display. The polished black ground works particularly well against warm timber, pale stone flooring, brushed brass, and deep green planting — and as an outdoor gorilla sculpture, it reads beautifully under natural daylight and low landscape lighting alike.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
