The Life-Size Traditional Seated Tibetan Buddha Bronze Sculpture stands at an imposing 180cm, presenting a meditative figure of commanding stillness: gilt skin surfaces, richly painted polychrome robes, and a sculpted lotus throne rendered in layered tiers of red, blue, green, and gold.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished in Polychrome and Gilt

Cast using the lost-wax bronze casting method, every surface of this piece is hand-finished to an exceptional level of detail. The skin areas carry a burnished gilt gold finish, while the robes are painted in vibrant polychrome with repeated auspicious symbol motifs worked in gold on deep red ground. The robe borders are trimmed in painted teal and blue, and the ushnisha, the cranial protrusion traditional to Buddha iconography, is finished with individually modelled black curled hair. A painted urna mark sits at the centre of the forehead. The left hand rests in the lap cradling an alms bowl; the right hand is extended downward in the bhumisparsha mudra, the earth-touching gesture associated with the moment of enlightenment. The multicolour lotus pedestal throne features beaded border detailing and painted petal tiers that anchor the figure with ceremonial authority.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
