Life-Size Traditional Boy Violinist Bronze Statue by Giant Sculptures, shown mid-performance with bow extended and verdigris jacket over dark patina trousers.
Life-Size Traditional Boy Violinist Bronze Statue - 170cm $29,61200
Description

The Life-Size Boy Violinist Bronze Statue stands at 170cm and captures a young musician at the peak of his performance: head tilted skyward, jacket open and swept back, bow arm extended in a wide, dramatic arc that carries the eye beyond the figure itself.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

Cast using the traditional lost-wax process, this life-size bronze figure carries the full weight of its 280kg form in every detail. The surface is hand-finished with a rich dark brown patina, deepening to green verdigris across the jacket folds and instrument detail, a natural oxidation that develops further with outdoor exposure and reads beautifully under both artificial gallery lighting and open daylight. The violin strings, bow hair, facial features, and individual strands of hair are all resolved with the precision that only hand-worked bronze finishing allows. This is not decorative approximation; it is craft held to sculptural standard.

At 170cm, the piece commands presence in any setting it occupies. Indoors, it suits double-height entrance halls, grand reception rooms, hotel lobbies, concert venues, and private galleries where the upward gaze and extended bow arm have room to breathe. Outdoors, it performs equally well as a focal point in a formal courtyard, civic plaza, music school forecourt, or landscaped garden. The dark bronze and verdigris palette pairs naturally with pale stone, dark hardwood, aged brick, and polished concrete.

Handmade to Order, Fully Customisable

We offer a full range of patina finishes beyond the standard dark brown and verdigris shown, including classic green, satin bronze, and blackened finishes. The figure can be produced at alternative scales for specific architectural contexts, and bespoke commissions inspired by the work of Johann Strauss or other historical musicians can be discussed directly with our studio team. Contact us before ordering if you have specific requirements and we will confirm feasibility and timeline before production begins.

Delivery to Your Address
