Description

The Life-Size Contemporary Football Players Bronze Sculpture captures two figures at the precise instant of a tackle: one player fully airborne and horizontal, arms wide, foot meeting the ball; the other standing firm behind, hair windswept, contesting every centimetre. At 190cm tall and 550kg of solid cast bronze, this is a monument to movement.

Cast Bronze, Hand-Finished

This sculpture is produced using the traditional lost-wax casting process, in which every surface detail is preserved from the original model through to the finished bronze. The dark brown to near-black matte patina is applied by hand after casting, accentuating the texture of the players' clothing, the fall of hair, and the creasing of fabric under tension. The result is a surface that reads as richly detailed under natural daylight and dramatically shadowed under artificial light. At life-size scale, the two-figure bronze composition commands space with complete authority.

The integrated low bronze base is minimal by design, sitting flush to ground level so that the figures appear to erupt directly from the surface beneath them. This sculpture suits wide entrance halls, corporate atriums, hotel lobbies, sports facilities, and open exterior settings including courtyards, stadium concourses, and landscaped grounds. The dark patina works equally well against pale stone, warm brick, or open sky.

Production Time

Every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of destination.

  • Sculptures under 50cm — shipped by air freight. Typical delivery 1–2 weeks after production is complete.
  • Sculptures 50cm and above — shipped by sea freight. Typical delivery 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

For larger sculptures where faster delivery is needed, air freight is available at additional cost — contact us before ordering for a quote.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

30-Day Returns

We accept 30-day returns on sculptures in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

To start a return, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is at the customer's cost.

Bespoke and custom-commissioned pieces are non-refundable once production has started, as they are made specifically to your specification.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
