The Large Traditional Dancing Children Bronze Sculpture stands 150cm tall and presents seven to eight child figures arranged in a complete circle, hands clasped, bodies leaning outward in the full momentum of a ring-around game. The composition captures a moment of unguarded, collective joy with a clarity that rewards close inspection and holds its presence across a wide space.
Each figure is cast using the traditional lost-wax process, which preserves the subtle modelling of facial expressions, the natural fall of period clothing, and the fine articulation of interlocked hands. The cast bronze children sculpture carries a warm mid-brown patina, with darker tones pooling in the recessed folds of fabric and the curves of faces to give the surface genuine depth. This is not a uniform coating but a hand-applied finish developed across the full composition, ensuring the handcrafted bronze group statue reads with consistent richness from every angle.
At 150cm in diameter at its widest sweep and 350kg, this is a substantial installation piece. The ground-level configuration, with no raised plinth, means the figures appear to inhabit the same plane as the viewer, making it equally effective set into a formal lawn, placed within a courtyard, positioned in a hotel or institutional atrium, or anchored at the centre of a large residential entrance hall. The warm bronze tones sit comfortably against pale stone, dark slate, timber decking, or cropped grass. Rated for indoor and outdoor placement, it is suited to both sheltered and open-air settings.
We offer a range of patina finishes beyond the standard mid-brown, including verdigris, dark espresso, and statuary black. The composition can also be scaled up or down to suit a specific site. If you are considering a bespoke commission inspired by figurative group work in this vein, contact us before ordering so we can confirm scope and timeline.
