The Monumental Contemporary Golfer Bronze Sculpture stands at a commanding 310cm, capturing a life-size male figure frozen at the peak of a full swing follow-through: body torqued, arms raised overhead gripping the club aloft, weight fully committed to the front foot, head tilted skyward tracking the flight of the ball.
This sculpture is produced using the lost-wax casting method, a process that preserves every surface detail with exceptional fidelity. The realistic folds of the golfer's clothing, the tension in the raised arms, and the precise facial features are all retained through the casting process and refined by hand during finishing. The resulting surface carries a warm brown bronze patina, mid-toned and consistent across the figure, with subtle highlights rising naturally across the cloth creases and contours of the face.
At 310cm and 1,200kg, this is a monument-grade commission suited to the exterior grounds of golf courses, country clubs, hotels, private estates, and sporting academies. The pale stone circular plinth on which the figure stands grounds the composition with a low-profile base, allowing the upward energy of the pose to read clearly against open sky or a formal architectural backdrop. Its scale and finish are equally at home flanking a clubhouse entrance or anchoring a landscaped courtyard.
Patina options include classic warm brown, aged verdigris green, black with bronze highlights, and polished natural bronze. The figure can be commissioned at alternative scales, and the base design can be adapted to suit specific site requirements. For commissions inspired by the work of a particular sporting figure or installation environment, contact us before ordering to discuss your brief in full.
